Batman Inspired Costume Batman-inspired tutorial: link to and sign up for Baby Lock's Enews for your free Baby Lock 2015 Halloween Ebook! You can purchase the licensed DC Batman patch here. If you have the Silhouette machine, you can find the licensed DC Batman logo here. Here is the free Batman-inspired (baby/toddler) Batman Inspired Cape Template to use with this Ebook tutorial. Make sure to download it to your computer and print. Don't print from your browser, as it may affect sizing and/or cut off some of the design. After printing, don't forget to ADD a 1/2" around the entire template except the fold, for a larger cut cape/seam allowance. A couple ideas for Halloween night:   My son loves DC's Batman and he had so much fun playing along in the image above! We layered on Halloween night, since we were trick or treating outdoors, I put a layer of my daughter's tights on him (hehe) to help keep warm, as well as another pair of leggings under his gray leggings. Then, we got some knee length black socks and a pair of black slip-ons to create a boot look! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Robin-Inspired Costume

Robin Inspired Costume Robin-inspired tutorial: link to and sign up for Baby Lock's Enews for your free Baby Lock 2015 Halloween Ebook! If you have the Silhouette machine, you can find the licensed DC Robin logo here. Find your free Robin-inspired buckle templates within this download: Adult and Child Sized Buckle Templates for sewing machine applique (see embroidery machine applique in the next paragraph). Make sure to download and print from the file (don't print from your browser; it may affect sizing). You can print these right onto Baby Lock's Fusible Applique Stabilizer/Interfacing following the product instructions! Cut, stick in place, and sew! So awesome! OR, for Baby Lock embroidery machines, here are adult and child sized Shirt Buckles PES-only embroidery designs. The large, adult buckle (displayed in the image above) is approx. 1.4" x 3.6" and the child sized buckle is approx. 1" x 2.5". Just download and unzip the file to your computer, then, place on your embroidery machine! 🙂 A couple Ideas for Halloween night: My husband layered a long sleeve black, tight, athletic shirt underneath his Robin-inspired shirt to keep warm. I think he wore some athletic leggings underneath his green leggings, as well. Then, for his boots, we found long socks and black slip-on shoes to create a boot look (as you can see in the image above).

Wonder Woman-Inspired Costume

2015 Halloween EBOOK11 Wonder Woman-inspired tutorial: link to and sign up for Baby Lock's Enews for your free Baby Lock 2015 Halloween Ebook! You can find the licensed DC Wonder Woman patch here. If you have the Silhouette machine, you can find the licensed DC Wonder Woman design here. Use these templates for your Wonder Woman Inspired Belt Pattern and Star Templates for sewing machine applique (machine embroidery star design below)! You can print the stars onto your Baby Lock Fusible Applique following the product instructions. Make sure to download this pattern to your computer and print. Don't print from your browser; it may affect size and/or cut off some of the design. Use the belt pattern for the belt (and the headband, link to tutorial below)! For Baby Lock embroidery machines (PES designs), I created applique stars and they are yours for free. The free downloadable designs are within the link below and contain: a single embroidery applique star design and a 3-star combo applique (like on Wonder Woman's bottoms). These designs are PES files only. The single file can be used for the headband star and/or the bottoms' stars (just arrange them in your embroidery software or on your machine) or there is a 3 star combo that would work for the bottoms of a child-sized costume. However, it turns out it was too cold for just that. So, we layered 2 pairs of tights and a pair of white leggings. She also wore a long sleeve shirt underneath the costume to keep warm! Then, I found a pair of (almost knee high) boots from a second hand store for $4...whoop whoop and spray painted them red (Google: how to spray paint leather or the like for some tutorial ideas)! _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Supergirl-Inspired Costume

Supergirl Inspired Costume Sewing Tutorial Supergirl-inspired tutorial: link to and sign up for Baby Lock's Enews for your free Baby Lock 2015 Halloween Ebook! You can find the licensed DC Supergirl (Superman) patch here. If you have the Silhouette machine, you can find the licensed DC Supergirl design here. This tutorial is so easy, there aren't any necessary patterns or templates and you can size it from a child to an adult! A couple tips for Halloween night: Check out those boots! These boots were a find at a second hand store for $12! And, I spray painted them (as I mentioned in the Inspired Wonder Woman costume)! I wore 2 pairs of tights to keep warm, as well as a red, long sleeve, fitted, athletic shirt underneath my top. I loved the active wear fabric for the skirt, but, I did feel the need for a pair of shorts underneath (over my tights)...so, I whipped up a pair of stretchy athletic-type shorts to wear underneath. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________

  1. This link does not take me to the free ebook. When I sign in, it takes me to my profile page. I tried signing up with a different email address and then I was taken to the 2014 ebook which I already have. Please fix this issue.

  2. The link to download the pumpkin template does not produce the template.
Please advise where it actually resides.

    Thank You

  3. The pumpkin template does not bring up the template. Please advise where does it actually reside.

    Thank You

  4. The embroidery pattern does not appear for the spider web t-shirt. If you access the spooky designs for Amazing Designs it is not there either. I thought these designs in the ebook were free, apparently not from Amazing Designs. Help please.
