Baby Shower T-shirt Quilt
December 3, 2012 in General
My sister is expecting a boy in February and she is a cheer coach and her husband is a football coach, so, my mom and I thought it would be perfect to make a cute mini t-shirt quilt with shirts from their school for their little boy for those chilly Iowa football games! I sewed it last week with my Baby Lock Sewing Machine for the baby shower this weekend and it was a big hit! I also, embroidered on the back using 2 fonts from MasterWorks and my Baby Lock Esante. I love how the Varsity font turned out!! We used 9 shirts and a plush microfleece. I cut the shirts 18″ x 18″ so, after seam allowance, it’s roughly 51″ x 51″ …but, you could do whatever size you’d like! For a tutorial on making a t-shirt quilt, link here!
