Charity Sew

July 29, 2010 in General

The Sew Kool for Kid’s School at the Martha Pullen School of Fashion Art takes time to help others out. One of the Pre-Day classes was set aside for charity sewing. The students created bears to be sent to¬†Huntsville’s Fire Department for tragedy victims.¬†The bears are for¬†children and adults who have been in fire and traffic accidents. Not only do these bears provide comfort they were made with love from students eager to help out, and learn to sew too! The¬†school¬†created about 75 bears to give away, and I was proud of their focus to help such a worthy cause.
