I could literally spend hours on end browsing through fabric. Whether it’s at my local shop or across the web, I easily get lost in the potential projects I could make with it all. Fabric with vibrant colors and interesting patterns appeal to me most, so I was immediately drawn to these collections:
This Scandinavian-inspired collection by Patty Young is her ninth for Michael Miller Fabric and includes 31 to-die-for prints. Learn more about Heaven & Helsinki and Patty’s other awesome collections here.
This beautiful swatch to the left, Paradise Garden in Wine, is part of Love by Amy Butler. The collection is divided into two color palettes, appropriately named “Heart” and “Soul.” Amy Butler brilliantly combined patterns that range from paisley to water color-inspired bouquets that feature colors like mint, turquoise, pink and periwinkle.
Savanna Bop by Thomas Knauer is bright, colorful and happy. This children’s collection for Andover Fabrics was actually the first fabric Thomas Knauer designed, and it was inspired by and dedicated to his daughter. I think my favorite thing about this collection is that you really can’t help but be happy when you see the different prints. You ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO read this blog post he wrote about Savanna Bop. (And, if you have time to spare, read a couple more of his blog posts. He has a great perspective on the industry and on life in general)
What do you think? Which fabric brands and collections are you in love with?
