Fun with MonogramWorks

June 15, 2012 in General, Tips & Tricks

I have many out of town friends who have been asking me to monogram items for them on my Ellure Plus. I found a way to show them samples of the fonts/options in the software I have, MonogramWorks.  I create their monogram in a variety of fonts on one screen in the program and take a picture of my computer screen.  I email the pictures to them so they can help choose the font and layout. This way they can see what their particular monogram will look like (with the options all side-by-side) instead of just looking at a list of fonts.  There are so many options with the software and it is very user friendly so it does not take long to make up a few different designs from which they can choose.

Here are some examples of monogram options for bridesmaids’ pashminas

Here are the finished products:

My friends definitely like seeing what their embroidery would look like before receiving the finished product.  And I feel better knowing they will love it when it arrives in the mail. Less pressure on me 🙂
