Sewing, Quilting, Embroidery, Design and Crafting Events 5 months, 1 week agoJust got back to sewing and learning to use my new babylock ellure plus. Wow there is so much to learn again! having a bit of problems with embroidering for the first time. Any suggestions??

Hey, towels are always easy with an applique. I would do an applique using perfect stick stablizer. Use an embroidery pattern from your machine.
You don’t say what your are embroidering – or thread, stabilizer, needle, fabric, or who the pattern is by.-
I think i did not choose a good fabric to begin with – since I went back to ”simple” fabric on kitchen towels it was definitely easier – thanks for replying

I have the same machine. Hardest part I found is finding the right stabilizer to use and hooping small items or items that are too thick to hoop. What are you having trouble with? I found the preloaded fonts and designs to work well, but am having difficulty with fonts I purchase.

I just ordered a group of hoops and should arrive this week. Which patterns are best to purchase when just starting out.?
learning by trial and error but my projects are getting better.

Just got my Ellure Plus and so far only did one practice piece with the emb. unit. I know we have to do some ”gymnastics” but does anyone who has a Mac computer have any suggestions about tips for downloading and stitching programs from the web? The dealer says it is possible, and we’ve found a few programs but haven’t tried them yet.
